Notes
This CD is dedicated to my Spiritual Teacher, Adi Da Samraj, who is the “You” in all the lyrics and whose Divine Heart-Word and Blessing inspired every song.
Special Thanks to my children, Trevor and Kate and their father, Dean Foster. Thanks to my Mom who has supported my music and compositions for years and years and to Dad, who passed away before completion of the project, “R”, Gwenda and Victoria. Thank you to Tom Stiles, The Adidam Chanting Guild, Brooke Beasley, Lisa Barnett, Pandit Pran Nath and Ali Akbar Khan, Terry Riley, Allaudin Mathieu, Daria, Jim Berenholz and Bentley Kalaway.
The following phrases used on this album are from the sacred Word of Avatar Adi Da Samraj, and used by permission of the copyright owner (The Avataric Samrajya of Adidam Pty Ltd, as trustee for The Avataric Samrajya of Adidam):
“Seven Gifts,” “Searchless Beholding,” “the Mystery,” “the ‘Bright’,” the mantra “Om Sri Da,” and the following Names and honorific Titles of Adi Da Samraj combined in variant forms—“Avatara Adi Da,” “Love-Andanda,” and “Hridayam.”
Music without words means leaving behind the mind. And leaving behind the mind is meditation.
Meditation returns you to the source. And the source of all is sound. — Kabir
