What is this connection so many musicians feel through your music? Only a handful of composers have succeeded in creating music that could penetrate so deep into the emotional world within us all.
You allow and encourage us to enjoy the beauty of your music for what it is. There is no pressure to tear into your music to decipher a hidden meaning, nor is there any expectation to respond to a certain way. Your music is like a lush, majestic garden teeming with a life, a rich frontier of innumerable dimensions where we may freely roam to experiences beauty at our own pace, through our own senses, creating our own spiritual connections to the wonder we can perceive. It is a garden for young and old, where at every age, we will notice something for the first time or acknowledge something that we were not ready to perceive before.
After millions of years of survival experiences, we should have no difficulty perceiving blatant emotions, such as anger, satisfaction, and fear, all within the blink of an eye or the flick of a tail. But deeper within our souls, we find complex feelings that are too fragmented or tangled to be recognized or retrieved without deep introspection. It is your music with its exquisite arrangement of melodies and sophisticated harmonies of that illuminates the motional kaleidoscope within us all bringing light to these scattered, orphaned emotions. Every heartfelt chord and every delicate phrase concretely represents and defines these obscure fragments of interwoven, untapped emotions. Your music is the authentic, straightforward voice of your soul, unscathed by agendas of the ego. we must mute the analytical chatter of our minds to truly hear beauty with the ears of our souls.
Music without words means leaving behind the mind. And leaving behind the mind is meditation.
Meditation returns you to the source. And the source of all is sound. — Kabir
