Amrita is the founding director of The Healing Music Organization a world-wide organization of sound healing practitioners, composers, musicians, educators and researchers. Her passion for sound and music in healing came from her own miraculous recovery from breast cancer in 1999, when she eradicated two tumors in six weeks with the sound of her own voice. Amrita plays the singing crystal bowls with impressive skill, and when combined with her angelic singing the music has been described as a sonic mandala.
